We'd like to warn anyone who lives near the Roisin in Galway that there may be an earthquake.

We're still thinking about merchandising in the new poll, despite the aslan fan who really wouldn't buy any.

Kudos to Hot Press magazine for a pretty good review of Blue Flowers in the current issue.
To call it a surprise would be an understatement worthy of Captain Oates.

Elvis n Spiders will definitely be on the new recording, but there's still (a little) time to influence the second Chihuahua song. The Bunny Suit Brigade can stop now, by the way. It's been eliminated, evicted, voted off the island.

The Irish Independent reviewed Blue Flowers yesterday. We're still not quite sure if it's a good or bad review, but you can judge for yourself on the Album Reviews page.

We've got a small present for you. A part of one of Pat's legendary live solos has been added to the samples page. Anyone who was at the Factory in April may be able to hear themselves cheering on this one!

You lot have been so lax in your reviewing that we've had to rely on the Press for a review of the Galway gig.

Indian are heading back into the studio to record some new material, as well as new versions of some old favourites.

Well done to Tabby Callaghan on getting to the last six on the ITV show, The X Factor. We'll all be voting again next week!

Indian will be on Ocean FM radio tomorrow (Wednesday) at about 6.20pm, in advance of the Garavogue gig in Sligo on Thursday night. Tune in for the wisdom of the ages (or is that aged?).

Lonesome Heart Attack has been declared the favourite sample on the site, beating Cities into a very close second (164 to 161 votes)

Bad news. The recording gig at the Factory (22 October) has been postponed. This is due to a problem with the company who were supposed to supply the recording equipment. The gig will be rescheduled when an alternative can be found. Check back later for details.

Sugarcube has run off with another poll result, becoming the favourite Chihuahua sample on the site.

The full result was Sugarcube - 117 votes (57% of the total poll!); Assassination - 61; Tramped through the World - 26; Electricity - 24; and Flying Solo brought up the rear with 17.

Sugarcube won't be an option in polls for a while :)

We've got our hands on a copy of the interview Indian did with Shannonside radio last week, and we've put some clips from it here for those of you who don't get the station.

Now you can hear everything from Martin telling us how the album got its title to Pat explaining how he ended up in the band.

There's a clear winner in the vote this time. With 47% of the poll and twice as many votes as its nearest rival, Sugarcube has been added to the track samples.

The full result was Sugarcube - 104 votes; Bunny Suit - 65; Elvis 'n' Spiders - 62; and So Cold a surprising fourth place with 22 votes.

Some new gig dates have been added. We're giving you plenty of notice for these ones, so you can start making travel plans now.

The website just passed the 100,000 hits mark. Thanks to all of you for your support over the last couple of months.

Having added another Blue Flowers track, to keep harmony in the universe we have to add another Chihuahua song to the samples page. It's up to you which one.

The results are in, and Lonesome Heart Attack has been added to the song samples page after getting 40% of the vote. It pipped Bang Bang Gun by just 2 votes (75 to 73).

We're sorry to announce that the gig scheduled for the Garavogue in Sligo on the 23rd of September has been cancelled, due to circumstances beyond the control of mere mortals, and even Indian.

Everyone here at Indian HQ take pride and pleasure in announcing the birth of Aileen's son Ben, who many of you saw in the Garavogue on the 12th giving his farewell pre-natal performance. It may be some time before we see him on stage again, but we all look forward to it. Congratulations from all of us to Aileen.

You wait for ages and then two come along at once. Garavogue reviews have arrived.
